Located at 2,000 metres above sea level, next to the mountain station of the Schmittenhöhe Cable Car, Berghotel Schmittenhöhe - 2000m offers ski-to-door access, a modern spa area, and a large sun terrace with panoramic mountain views.
The rooms, renovated in 2018, overlook the surrounding mountains and offer satellite TV and free WiFi. Most of the rooms have a balcony.
In winter, one ride is included for arrival and departure; if you plan to go skiing or hiking, you can purchase the necessary ticket directly at the ticket office at the valley station.
The 330 m² spa area features various saunas, a fitness room, a sun bed, and a massage bed. Bathrobes are provided.

The Schmittenhöhe Berghotel is only reachable by cable car, which operates between 09.00 and 15:00. From the valley station, the centre of Zell am See can be reached in 5 minutes with the free ski bus, or on foot in 20 minutes. The ski pass is also valid in Kaprun, 8 km away.
